Dr. Wendy Brown, PT, DPT, Cert. DN, AIB-VRC
Dr. Wendy Brown received her doctorate degree from The University of St. Augustine in 2007. Wendy has been practicing for over 18 years as Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and has extensive experience working with patients with neurological injuries, specifically brain injury and spinal cord injuries. Wendy has a strong passion for neurological rehabilitation in the areas of Disorders of Consciousness (DoC), Stroke, Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), spasticity management, polytrauma, and medically complex patients with tracheostomies including those with mechanical ventilation dependency. Dr. Wendy Brown is certified in Dry Needling and is also a certified Vestibular and Concussion Rehabilitation Therapist through the American Institute of Balance. Wendy has practiced in a variety of settings, including, but not limited to: inpatient neurological rehabilitation, outpatient neurological rehabilitation, outpatient orthopedics, surgical centers, specialty intensive care units (ICU), wound care, and acute care hospitals. Wendy has been seeing patients privately, in the home setting for over 10 years and is excited to be able to share her expertise with you and your family.
